Because of the existing Odoo version and the way processes had originally been configured, some information still had to be handled manually, while certain areas of production management required additional coordination.

Working closely with the client, we implemented a solution that migrated and modernized production processes within a newer Odoo environment while ensuring consistent data flow throughout the system.
A dedicated migration mechanism was developed to automatically transfer production orders, product data, and bills of materials without duplication. This ensures that the system accurately reflects real production workflows and is ready to support a growing business.
After upgrading to the new Odoo version, production processes became clearly structured and much easier to manage. Work centers were aligned with actual production stages, while operations accurately reflect real manufacturing workflows.
Employees can work directly within the system and access up-to-date information in real time. This improves planning accuracy, reduces the risk of errors, and ensures more stable operations even as production volumes continue to grow.
An additional improvement was the implementation of automated label printing during production. An integrated printer (applicator) automatically generates and prints labels, assigning them directly to specific packages.
This speeds up production while reducing the likelihood of human error, particularly in higher-volume manufacturing environments.
After upgrading Odoo, production processes became more consistent and transparent. The need for manual work was significantly reduced, while production data became more reliable.
The team can now focus on manufacturing instead of coordinating processes or correcting errors. Decision-making has become easier because all relevant information is available in one place.
Most importantly, the company can confidently manage growing order volumes and continue expanding without being slowed down by day-to-day process inefficiencies.
